Studio Fun...

I've felt a little under the weather for the past week or so, so haven't been in a particularly creative/inspired mind set. I feel like this happens almost every December. Maybe it's the stress of Christmas (yes I find Christmas verrry stressful) or perhaps it's just because my body knows that the busy year is coming to an end, and it decides to take a break. Who knows.

I did however, manage to wake up this morning in the mood for some studio fun...

Mascotte

Some of you would know (if you're following on the new Indigo Child fb page) that last week I was invited to attend the launch of the new (to Australia) shoe and accessory line 'Mascotte' at Garden City. Now being someone who's always believed that accessories/shoes are the key to great styling, and have the power to make or break your look - I was more than excited to go along and suss out what this brand new store had to offer the fashionistas of Brissy.

Their unique pieces scream quality, elegance and fabulousness. What I saw there was something for every kind of girl; the romantics, the bohemians, the party animals, the bold, the slick and the simple.

Speaking of pigs.. any of you gals out there trying to lose some of the winter weight and don't seem to be getting anywhere? Speaking from very recent experience, you need to cut out the cholesterol (animal fats) from your diet. Seriously. UP your vege intake LOWER your animal flesh intake. Simple!

Precious Agate

I've felt overwhelmed with creative energy for the past few weeks, and one of my favourite ways of venting it has been to make things. Like this chunky Agate stone chain necklace.. it's without a doubt my go-to piece heading into summer. I'm loving wearing it over basic block colours and to dress up otherwise quite simple outfits..

Naked Under My Clothes.

There's no better way to start the day, than with a coffee and a photo shoot at an old warehouse. Well, for me anyway.

This grecian-style maxi ($60) is by far my favourite dress at the moment. Simple and elegant, flowy and comfortable - and a beautiful deep blue. This is the 3rd of 3 gorgeous dresses I've been able to show you, from one of my fave sponsors: Chic Maxi Dresses
